Reporting to the Café Manager, the Barista Café Allrounder is the heartbeat of the café floor. You'll craft exceptional coffee, deliver warm and attentive service, and pitch in across all areas of café operations to keep things running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, people-first role where your energy, skill and genuine care for the community make a real difference every shift.

Key responsibilities include

- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages, teas and cold drinks to a consistent standard
- Deliver warm, attentive and personalised service to residents, families and visitors every shift
- Assist with food preparation, plating and presentation in line with the café menu




- Keep the coffee machine, grinder and equipment clean and operational throughout service
- Monitor and restock coffee supplies, milk and consumables to ensure uninterrupted service
- Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming café environment always
- Complete opening and closing duties, cleaning schedules and food safety compliance tasks
- Support the Café Manager and team wherever you're needed — this is an allrounder role

Skills and experience

- Barista experience — confident with an espresso machine and proud of a well-made coffee
- Genuine customer service skills and natural warmth with people
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy café service
- Willingness to help across all areas of café operations — food service, cleaning, stock and more
- Knowledge of food safety, WH&S; and hygiene standards
- Awareness of dietary requirements and allergen considerations
- Experience in aged care, healthcare or community hospitality highly regarded
- Barista training or demonstrated coffee experience (essential)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification, or willingness to obtain (essential)
- Certificate II or III in Hospitality or equivalent (desirable)
