We're seeking a warm, professional, and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our Myhealth general practice in the heart of Miranda on a part-time basis, Monday to Friday. This is an exciting prospect for someone looking to advance their career in general practice while enjoying the dynamic atmosphere of a vibrant, busy area. As our Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients, playing a key role in providing excellent patient care and support.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting patients and efficiently managing patient check-ins and registration
- Overseeing and maintaining appointment scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)
- Answering patient queries via phone and email
- Organising and maintaining patient records, ensuring confidentiality
- Handling various ad-hoc reception tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

About you

- Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience (medical preferred)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
