Austest Laboratories is a leading Australian environmental testing facility, providing testing and qualification services for defence, aerospace, rail, automotive, medical and other industries.

We are looking for a well-organised Storeperson to support our engineering team with the smooth movement and storage of customer equipment.

This is a practical, hands-on role working 15 hrs per week, across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ideally in the morning.

What you’ll be doing

- Receiving and unpacking incoming items
- Recording arrivals and printing labels
- Storing equipment and maintaining an organised storage area
- Retrieving items when required by the engineering team
- Packing and preparing equipment for return transport
- Coordinating with colleagues, clients and logistics providers
- Undertaking occasional local deliveries or collections in a company vehicle
- Assisting with general housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks

What we’re looking for

You will be dependable,



practical and comfortable working independently while also being part of a small, supportive team. You will take pride in keeping things organised and ensuring equipment is handled carefully.

To be considered, you will need:

- Confidence using basic hand and power tools
- A systematic and organised approach
- Basic computer skills, including email and printing labels
- The ability to safely handle and move equipment associated with the roleA friendly, close-knit workplace
- A diverse and practical role
