We’re looking for a Duty Technician to join our Maintenance team in a part‑time or casual capacity. This role is ideal for someone seeking 15 hours per week across three days (e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Friday). It would suit a semi‑retiree, a hands‑on all‑rounder, or someone looking for a balanced, steady role in a friendly, design‑led hotel environment.

About the Role

- Carrying out preventative maintenance across guest rooms and public areas
- Using and maintaining general tools and equipment confidently and safely
- Completing basic plumbing tasks (e.g. unblocking drains, minor leaks)
- Performing basic painting, patching, and repair work
- Supporting reactive maintenance requests as they arise
- Assisting with contractor coordination and site access (nice to have, not essential)
- Ensuring all work is completed to brand standards and logged accurately
- White Card certified prepared
- This is a hands‑on role where pride in workmanship, reliability, and a calm,



guest‑focused approach go a long way.
