CMK Electrical & Data are seeking a friendly, motivated and positive 2nd , 3rd, 4th year apprentice or young licensed tradesman to join our friendly team, working with a variety of clients from residential to industrial and also Commercial. CMK ELECTRICAL & DATA are a family run business and are looking for the right candidate to be part of our growing team.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to work in a team environment

A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible, reliable and show initiative

Ability to travel and hold current driver’s license

Willingness to undertake TAFE apprenticeship course

Ensure on a daily basis that the company vehicle is well equipped and stocked and complete work sheets as required.

Maintain CMK ELECTRICAL & DATA's provided tools and plant are maintained and secured at meal breaks and at completion of the work day.

Keep track of your personal tools and ensure replacements made within their life span

Report all unsafe practices, safety hazards, injuries and incidents immediately to the office

Keep record and file paperwork timesheets, recording hours/material used





Must have good communications with Office.

Assisting the Electrician, This may involve doing basic tasks such as handling the tools, and it may also involve working independently from the Electrician at times on electrical tasks that require less skill or experience. As the Electrical Apprentice progresses, they will be given more independence in completing tasks.

You will be assigned jobs daily with the licensed electrician onsite and will be required to keep the office updated on eta times of completion. Procedures on operations will be provided on how to assist in running the day smoothly.
