Atlas Events is looking for an organised and proactive Event Operations Coordinator to join our Sunshine Coast team.

This hands-on role will support the planning and delivery of our events, with responsibility for precinct operations, suppliers, infrastructure and community consultation administration.

Event Operations Coordinator

Part time - 3 days/week

Atlas Events is looking for an organised and proactive Event Operations Coordinator to join our Sunshine Coast team.

This hands-on role will support the planning and delivery of our events, with responsibility for precinct operations, suppliers, infrastructure and community consultation administration.

The role

- Prepare and maintain event and precinct operations plans.
- Coordinate site layouts, infrastructure, signage, access and operational requirements.
- Engage and coordinate event suppliers from planning through to delivery.
- Monitor supplier costs against approved budgets and flag potential overruns.
- Coordinate supplier bump-in and bump-out and manage event precinct setup.
- Oversee precinct operations on event days and assist with resolving operational issues.
- Prepare community consultation flyers,



signage and supporting materials.
- Coordinate scheduled community consultation emails and maintain relevant records.
- Support the wider operations team with event planning and delivery as required.
- Attend and work at Atlas Events race weekends.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Can manage multiple suppliers, projects and deadlines.
- Is proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on event environment.
- Is willing to travel and work weekends for events.

Previous experience in events, operations, logistics or a similar coordination role would be highly regarded.
