We specialise in the construction, modification and repair of Energex reinforced concrete cable pits, servicing South East Queensland with the majority of works carried out in Inner Brisbane & surrounding suburbs, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Our team is managed by the longest serving and most reputable Energex Authorised Pit Builder in SEQ with over 30 years’ experience in this specific field. We are looking for an experienced civil construction labourer with the qualifications and skill set capable of interpreting basic plans, problem solving, ability to prepare and work to workplace health and safety documentation. Duties include preparing equipment, materials, loading and unloading vehicles, operating heavy vehicles, securing a safe work zone, measure and cut accurately, operation of tools and equipment such as but not limited to quick cut saw, jackhammer, drop saw, nail gun, other powered & unpowered hand tools,shovel, broom, plate compactors, concrete mixer, concrete vibrator, concrete finishing hand tools,



with the ability to identify and action general maintenance of tools and equipment. You will need to have an excellent work ethic, self-motivation, responsibility, be clean and tidy, demonstrating respect for the workplace, equipment, self and others in a way that encourages and contributes to you and your colleagues enjoying and appreciating your working setting.

This position offers the benefits of fulltime, with a minimum of 76 hours per fortnight.

We have both day crew (Mon-Fri) and night crew (Sun-Thu) and you must be willing to work either, including overtime as required, with all shifts starting and finishing from our yard at Northgate 4013.

Must have:

- QLD HR Licence - Unrestricted (can operate a road-ranger gearbox)
- Confined Space Certificate
- Steel fixing, Formwork & Concreting Experience
- Fitness, Mobility & Endurance

Hours:

38 - 45 hours per week.
