Sydney Equestrian Supplies is a leading Stockfeed and Equestrian Company requiring a Sales Assistant with retail experience and knowledge in the equine industry to join the team. Opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday 8am-2pm and Sunday 9am-12pm.

Key responsibilities

Internal sales - dealing with daily sales and face to face customer service

Identify and maximise sales opportunities

Process all phone orders in a professional and accurate manner

Gain thorough knowledge of the different features and benefits of products

Answer, hold and direct incoming calls for other staff

Mark off, label and pack stock away

Visual merchandising and maintaining store/cleaning

Assist with various other general administration tasks

Knowledge and experience with social media marketing and advertising

Relief dispatch officer

About you





Previous sales experience minimum would be an advantage

Knowledge of the equine industry preferred

Valuable communication and customer service skills

Able to multi-task, work under pressure, be highly organised and able to carry through and follow up tasks

Attention to detail and punctuality

Honest and reliable

Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport

Flexible to cover shifts and when staff are on annual leave

Great work ethic with a positive, friendly can-do attitude
