I MOW 4 U is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced gardener who knows how to do more than simply push a mower around.

You know how to shape a hedge properly, prune with purpose, bring a neglected garden back under control and leave a property looking noticeably better than when you arrived.

We’ll give you the right equipment, realistic expectations and the freedom to use your experience. In return, we’re looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and can be relied upon to maintain a high standard.

What you’ll be doing

Our work includes:

- Garden maintenance and property tidy-ups
- Hedging and detailed pruning
- Mowing, edging and line trimming
- Weed control and spraying
- Mulching and garden-bed maintenance
- Green-waste removal
- Larger garden clean-ups and makeovers

We work across Ballarat for private homeowners, NDIS participants and aged-care clients. Some days you’ll work independently and others alongside the crew—but the standard stays the same.

What we’re looking for

This position is for someone with proven, hands-on gardening or landscape-maintenance experience .

You’ll need to:

- Be confident using commercial mowing and gardening equipment
- Know how to hedge neatly and prune plants correctly
- Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Assess a garden and understand what needs to be done
- Work independently without needing every step explained
- Communicate respectfully with clients and teammates
- Be reliable, honest and willing to take responsibility




- Have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport to work
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a police check

Plant knowledge, chemical-use accreditation, leadership experience or horticultural qualifications would be highly regarded—but practical ability and the quality of your work matter most.
