Trainee Educator / Certificate III Educator – Hopskotch Kindergarten (Schofields)

Hopskotch Kindergarten is looking for a caring, reliable and motivated educator to join our team.

We are ideally looking for someone who would like to commence a Certificate III traineeship, however, we are also open to applications from educators who already hold their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You’ll work alongside experienced educators in a supportive and collaborative setting where children’s ideas, interests and voices are valued.

We have high expectations of our educators and value reliability, initiative, teamwork and a willingness to learn.

- Genuine interest in working with young children and contributing to their learning and wellbeing
- Reliable, responsible and committed to turning up and being part of the team




- Warm and respectful in your interactions with children, families and colleagues
- Willing to learn, take direction and apply feedback
- Able to follow instructions and ask questions when you’re unsure
- Happy to get involved, contribute to the team and take initiative in your day-to-day work
- Understands that working in early childhood is an active, hands‑on role with high expectations around professionalism, reliability and responsibility
- For a trainee, willing to commit to completing a Certificate III alongside work

Requirements:

- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Completed Child Safety Training (Geckko)
- Min 2 professional reference checks
- Australian citizen or permanent resident if applying for the traineeship must be able to work 40 hrs per week.
