FORKLIFT DRIVER – MARRICKVILLE

We’re looking for reliable and experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy food processing facility in Marrickville, NSW.

You’ll play an important role in keeping the site running smoothly by safely moving pallets and stock between buildings in a busy poultry processing environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on forklift position working across a busy food processing facility. You’ll primarily operate a Counterbalance Forklift and will be required to work in cool room and freezer environments.

A key part of the role involves moving pallets between buildings, including operating the forklift across a public road, so confidence and a strong focus on safety are essential.

The site is conveniently located a short walk from Sydenham Station, making it easy to access via public transport.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
- Moving pallets and stock between buildings
- Safely operating a forklift across a public road
- Loading and unloading pallets




- Working in cool room and freezer environments
- Following site safety and food handling procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

- Current forklift licence with Counterbalance experience
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in cool room and freezer environments
- Confident operating a forklift safely across a public road
- Able to follow instructions and site procedures
- Food manifesting experience preferred but not essential
- Previous warehouse or food processing experience highly regarded
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Shift Details:

- Pay Rate: $35.01 per hour
- Hours: 5:00am – 1:00pm
- Roster: Monday to Friday, ongoing
- Start: Immediate
- Location: Marrickville, NSW
