Beyond Speech is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Therapist to join our team in Healesville, VIC supporting client in the Yarra Valley and Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. This part-time role (Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays = 24 hours per week) is an exciting opportunity to utilise your music therapy expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team and engage in collaboration activities including professional development, learning, wellness initiatives, and culture-building sessions.

Key responsibilities

- Developing and implementing individualised music therapy programs to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of clients
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the overall evaluation of client progress
- Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities
- Promoting the benefits of music therapy within the local community
- Growing the Music Therapy program

About you

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Music Therapy
- Registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of music therapy services to diverse client populations, particularly those with NDIS funding,



in early childhood, schools and aged care facilities
- Minimum of 2 years of music therapy experience required
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and the broader healthcare team
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for the transformative power of music
- Working with Children Check and Police Check required
