Due to continued growth and upcoming civil construction works, we are seeking experienced and reliable Truck & Dog Operators to join our team.

About the Role

As a Truck & Dog Operator, you will work alongside our civil construction crews, transporting materials to and from project sites and supporting day-to-day earthworks and civil operations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating Truck & Dog combinations safely and efficiently

- Transporting quarry materials, spoil, gravel, road base and other construction materials

- Completing daily pre-starts and vehicle inspections

- Maintaining accurate dockets,



load records and required documentation

- Complying with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements

- Ensuring loads are transported and secured in accordance with regulations

- Communicating effectively with supervisors, operators and site personnel

- Working around excavators, loaders and other heavy plant

- Maintaining a clean and well-presented truck

- Following all site safety, environmental and project requirements

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Current HC Driver Licence or higher – essential

- Demonstrated experience operating a Truck & Dog

- Civil construction or quarry haulage experience

- Good understanding of NHVR and fatigue management requirements

- Construction White Card

- Strong safety awareness

- Ability to complete required paperwork and daily records

- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

- Ability to work as part of a civil construction team
