Are you practical, reliable and looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with an established engineering company?

Our client is a reputable engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in custom-compounded PTFE and PEEK products, including compression-moulded rods, tubes and sheets.

They are looking for a reliable and motivated Production / Manufacturing Operator to join their team in North Rocks NSW 2151.

About the Role

This is a hands-on production position where you'll be involved in manufacturing specialised engineering products used across a range of industries.

Working as part of an experienced production team, you'll operate manufacturing equipment, monitor production processes and carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the company's standards.

You don't need to be an expert in PTFE or PEEK. We're looking for someone who is practical, dependable, safety-conscious and willing to learn.

Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operating experience would be an advantage.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating and monitoring manufacturing and production equipment
- Producing compression-moulded PTFE and PEEK products
- Following production procedures and work instructions
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process




- Identifying and reporting production or equipment issues
- Assisting with basic equipment maintenance where required
- Working with other team members to meet production requirements
- Maintaining accurate production records
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
- Following workplace health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous manufacturing, production, machine-operating or similar experience
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for production records and data entry
- A commitment to workplace safety

A forklift licence would be useful but is not essential.
