Medical Receptionist - Allied Health Clinic

Theposition is for between 25 -30 hours between the clinic opening hours of 8am - 6.15pm Monday - Friday.

The Role

Thesuccessful applicant will be thefirst point of contact for patients in a rapid paced physiotherapy clinic. You will be working as part of a small administration team supporting a large group of allied health professionals. We offer a supportive and welcoming environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

Answering enquiries and scheduling appointments via phone and email

Invoicing and processing patientEftpos, Hicaps, Medicare, DVA, Workcover, Insurance and NDIS claims

Enteringdata and maintaining electronic patient files

Supporting practitioners with administration duties

Proactive diary and clinic management

Liaising with Workcover & Insurance Agencies, Medical Referrers and Specialists

General tidying, laundering and maintaining stock levels

The Requirements





Exceptional customer service skills on the phone and in person

The ability to multitask, prioritise and work in a fast paced environment

A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently at times

Enthusiastic with a professionaland caring manner

Intermediate computer skills with good attention to detail

Enjoys being part of a close team and working collaboratively with colleagues

Familiarity with HICAPS and previous medical admin experience is favourable but not essential
