The Role: We are currently seeking 15 Food Service Cooks to join our teams at: Autumn Lodge - 1-3 Short Street, Macksville NSW 2447 Riverside Gardens- 20 Riverside Drive, Nambucca Heads, NSW 2448 Full-time positions available (38 hours per week).

Expected commencement: December 2026 for ongoing work. The role is shift based - Morning and Afternoon, with Various start times. As a Food Service Cook, you will report to the Chef and be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Kitchen Department.

This is a hands-on role where you will help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen, assist with meal preparation, and support the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:





- Maintain the cleanliness of pantry, fridges, and freezers.
- Ensure kitchen areas meet current health and hygiene regulations.
- Handle chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
- Promote workplace safety by identifying hazards and adhering to WHS practices.
- Provide support to the Chef and other kitchen staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and service.

Hourly Rates:

- $27.80 per hour (unqualified) to $31.40 per hour, depending on experience.
- Plus, penalty rates and applicable shift allowances, in line with our enterprise agreement.

- If required, 3-4 weeks of training will be offered at our Wangaratta Care Community, prior to relocating to this Care Community.
