N.S.W Instant Cash is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Pawnbroking at Cardiff and Maitland, NSW. This is a casual position leading to fulltime employment for the right applicant offering flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service and supporting our retail operations. As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our business, delivering a positive shopping experience and contributing to the success of our store through engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining our retail environment to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product enquiries and purchases
- Processing sales transactions accurately and securely using our point-of-sale systems
- Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail space, including restocking shelves and displays
- Handling cash and card payments with integrity and following all company procedures
- Building positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
- Following company policies and procedures at all times
- Supporting the store team to meet sales targets and objectives
- Assisting with stock management and inventory checks as required

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in retail or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential
- Robust communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers




- Numeracy skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately
- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual hours including weekends if required
- A friendly, positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn point-of-sale systems quickly
