Commercial Irrigation & Pump company seeking competent Irrigation Technician with design & installation experience

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our busy team servicing the Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a wide range of commercial and residential irrigation systems and pumping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Designing, installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of irrigation and pumping systems including controllers, valves, solenoids, wiring and associated equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide practical technical advice.
- Complete job documentation and communicate with the team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Work independently in office while contributing to a small, supportive team.

Skills & Experience

- Cert III in Irrigation, Landscaping, Horticulture or equivalent (or currently completing).
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on irrigation industry experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers,



pumps and associated equipment.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical irrigation faults.
- Current driver's licence and clean driving record.
- Police check and valid Blue Card.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for completing jobs to a high standard.
- Experience with pump and filtration systems.
- Confined Space certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience with sewer, stormwater or other commercial pumping applications.
- Local resident with knowledge of Gold Coast & NSW Nth Rivers areas
