Content Creator — Flexible Contract Role

Gold Coast, QLD

$140 per shoot | Approx. 2 hours per shoot

1-2 shoots per week initially, with potential to grow to 12 shoots per week

We're looking for a confident, energetic and highly efficient Content Creator to join our growing marketing agency on a contract basis.

You’ll travel to our clients across the Gold Coast and film short-form social media content for hospitality and service-based businesses.

This isn't a role where you'll be sitting around brainstorming what to film.

We do the planning for you.

You’ll receive the content concepts, scripts, shot requirements and creator direction before the shoot. Your job is to walk in, build a great relationship with the client, take control of the production and capture excellent content quickly.

There is no editing or colour grading required. Once the shoot is finished and footage is delivered, you're done.

What you'll be doing

You’ll attend approximately 2-hour client shoots and capture primarily short-form vertical video for Instagram Reels and other social platforms.

You’ll work directly with business owners, employees and talent, so you'll need to be extremely comfortable communicating with different personalities and giving people transparent direction on camera.

Some shoots will involve cinematic B-roll and aesthetic footage. Others will involve interviews, scripted content, talking-to-camera videos, food, hospitality, products and fast-moving social content.

You’ll be given clear creative direction before arriving, but we still want someone with a great creative eye who can recognise an excellent shot when they see one.

The person we're looking for

Communication is our #1 priority.

You could be an incredible videographer, but if you can't communicate confidently with clients, this isn't the right role.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Comfortable walking into unfamiliar businesses and taking control of a shoot

- Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality

We run fast shoots. We're looking for someone who can arrive prepared, understand the brief, establish rapport with the client and start creating.

You MUST have your own equipment

You’ll need your own professional content-creation kit, including:

Video camera + suitable lenses, wireless microphones, gimbal and tripod.

Your equipment needs to be capable of producing high-quality professional vertical video suitable for premium social media content.

Schedule & workload

This role is designed to be highly flexible.

You’ll coordinate shoot availability around both your schedule and the client’s availability rather than working fixed office hours.

We’re initially expecting approximately 1-2 shoots per week, with the opportunity for this to increase significantly as we bring on more clients.

For the right creator, there is potential to grow toward up to 12 shoots per week.

This could suit a freelance videographer/content creator looking for consistent additional work while retaining flexibility around other projects.

Pay

$140 per completed shoot.

A standard shoot is approximately 2 hours.

There is no editing or colour grading required as part of the shoot fee.
