Client Services Officer

Responsibilities

Client Care

- Answer client queries as they arise as a first point of contact before passing to the Financial Adviser,
- Liaise with external providers where required to follow up on applications and make sure processing is smooth; and
- Build and maintain client relationships.

Team Support

- Provide Financial Advisers support for implementation and review of advice,
- Manage Financial Advisers diaries and arrange client appointments; and
- Work with other members of the client services team to deliver high quality service delivery.

Systems and Documentation

- Maintain files and database records,
- Preparation of forms and compliance documents for implementation,
- Prepare review documents for ongoing clients; and
- Prepare and comply with FDS/OPT IN standards and obligations.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Financial Services,
- Experience in processing new insurance applications and working with underwriters preferred but not compulsory,
- Insurance maintenance experience including lapses, reinstatement, change of details and reductions preferred but not compulsory,




- Insurance quoting experience preferred but not compulsory,
- Proficient computer skills, including extensive experience with software packages including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Xplan (financial planning software),
- Proactive mindset and a self-starter, with the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise,
- Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately,
- Strong organisational abilities,
- High attention to detail and high accuracy rate,
- Strong verbal and written communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and customer service attitude,
- Capability of working alone and as a valued team member; and
- Commitment to learning and implementing new skills and knowledge.
