The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis (2 days per week – Wednesday & Thursday) .
You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming setting for our patients and supporting our clinical team with high-quality administrative services.
There may also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at our other locations.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients, answering phones, and managing appointments
Invoicing, receipting, and debt collection
Supporting the practice with business operations
Managing Workcover cases and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
About You
You're a customer-focused professional who thrives in a team-based environment. You have a friendly and proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Previous experience in a medical or physiotherapy administration role (desirable)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Experience with practice management systems (Nookal or similar preferred)
Strong multitasking and time management abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high standard of ethics and professionalism
Flexibility to support the needs of the practice
Ability to prioritise and dynamically problem-solve
