In this role, you will ideally collaborate and work in a team workplace, possess good written and oral communication skills to enable the implementation of explicit teaching techniques, of individual or small group programs, as well as display the ability to support general health and well-being of students.

Key responsibilities

- You will assist with preparing and maintaining the learning environment by ensuring equipment, materials and resources are organised, accessible and ready for use.
- Working alongside teachers, you will contribute to the delivery of planned education programs and help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning setting.




- As an Education Assistant you would be responsible for assisting with the care and supervision of students during class activities and in the delivery of planned education programs, with the ability to assist in teaching literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- You will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to provide care and supervision during classroom activities and assist with the implementation of planned programs, demonstrations and learning activities.

What you need

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
