OUR CURRENT SIL OPPORTUNITY:

Supported Independent Living & In-Home Support – In Corinda, Brisbane

This role suits experienced disability support professionals who understand that quality support extends to actively implementing participant's formal care plans every day and goes beyond simply completing daily tasks.

We're looking for people who can confidently lead within the home, create a positive and qualified culture, mentor others by example, implement behaviour strategies, maintain high standards of documentation and NDIS compliance, and actively identify opportunities to improve service delivery for our clients.

You’ll take ownership of your work, contribute ideas, communicate effectively with participants, families and colleagues, and genuinely care about achieving the best outcomes for the people we support.

You’ll be a key part of a team that helps participants build connection, confidence, and community whether that’s at the day program,



at home, or out exploring the community doing the things they love.

- * MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THESE SLEEPOVER SHIFTS on a rotating schedule; Shifts are 6pm - 10am on Monday & Thursday on Week 1, and 4pm - 10am on Wednesday & Friday on Week 2, plus opportunity for a weekend shift once a fortnight (Saturday).
- *PLEASE NOTE - We DO NOT want someone already working fulltime hours elsewhere, as you need to be 100% available for the participant - this is not a role for coming on shift for a break or rest from your FT role. (You can work PT in another job.)
- (NB. These shifts are set and not variable. We require you available for these shifts for these hours. Yes we know, we shouldn't need to actually spell that out, but it turns out we do!)
- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent (AIN/EEN welcomed; RN encouraged for clinical roles)




- Minimum 12 months' relevant experience in disability support (seriously, 12 months minimum - or don't apply)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A recent National Police Check
- A valid driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Flexibility for contributing to a rotating 24/7 roster, 7 days a week
- Confidence using a personal device for shift reporting - FlowLogic
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
