About the Role

We're looking for aSocial Media& Content Coordinator to join our MarketingTeam on a part-time basis, 3 days a week.

This is a social-first role. You'll help plan, create and publish content acrossiPlayAustralia's social channels, spending time both at our Support Office and out in venues capturing what's happening.

One week you might be filming a new game or venue launch, the next you're turning a national campaign into TikToks and Reels, scheduling content or helping build out anEDMs.

You'll workunderour Digital & Creative Manager andwiththebroader MarketingTeam, with plenty of opportunity to learn more across digital marketing as the role develops.

And because the best content doesn't always happen between 9 and 5, there will occasionally be evening and weekend venue shoots as part of your hours.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning, creating and publishing organic content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant channels

Capturing photo and video content atiPlayvenues, launches, events and promotions

Editing short-form video including Reels, TikToks and social-first campaign content

Writing captions and adapting campaign messaging for different platforms

About You

You don't need ten years of experience or a perfectly polished portfolio.

We're looking for someone early in their marketing or content career who understands social media beyond simply using it.

You should be comfortable picking up a phone or camera and finding the content in what's happening around you. You know what makes a good Reel or TikTok, can edit short-form video, have no issues directingtalent, have a good feel for copy and understandwhatengages with our audience.

You'll also be organised enough to work across multiple venues, campaigns and deadlines without everything disappearing into your camera roll.

Experience with tools likeMeta Business Suite,Canva,CapCut, Adobe Premiere ProandPhotoshop would be useful. Experience with EDM platforms, websites, social scheduling tools or broader digital marketing is a bonus, but we're equally interested in someone who wants to learn.

You'll also need:

A current open driver's licence and the ability to travel to venues

Flexibility for occasional rostered evening and weekend work when we're capturing events, launches or venue activity

Confidence working with different people and getting involved in a busy venue workplace

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

A genuine interest inbuilding a career insocial media, content anddigital marketing.

Occasional interstate travel may also be required.

WhyiPlay?

You'll be creating content for a national entertainment brand where there's always something new to work with.

You'll have access to 30+ venues, new openings, arcade games, bowling, experiences, promotions and events rather than trying to manufacture a month's worth of content around the same product sitting on a desk.

It's also a role with room to grow. While social and content are the starting point, you'll work alongside the wider MarketingTeam and can build experience across campaigns, digital marketing, EDM, web and brand as you develop.

The role is approximately 23 hours per week, basedfromour Support Office in Woolloongabba with regular venue-based content work.
