O'Sullivan Financial is led by advisers who have consistently pursued excellence in both their academic and professional development. Director Mace O'Sullivan completed a Master of Financial Planning and was awarded the Bachelor's Medal for Commerce after achieving the highest overall result in his undergraduate degree. Senior planner David Ormsby joined the business after university in 2021 and has since progressed to partnership in the business. David holds a Master of Financial Planning and was awarded the Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award as the highest performing individual in the CFP Certification Program (Australia) in 2025.

The Role
We are looking to add a team member eager to engage in a client service role, which will progress to learning paraplanning to assist in the preparation of advice. The position offers the ability to grow into a senior client manager, associate adviser, paraplanner or a financial planning role.
Duties will include the following:
- Assisting with day-to-day client relationships, becoming the first point of contact for client enquiries.
- Providing administrative support to the advisers and other team members.
- Data collection from various providers and preparation of documents for client reviews.
- Building to the preparation of simple advice documents and assisting with the preparation of complex advice.
- Administration relating to implementation of advice, including superannuation funds, investments and other financial products.
- Other duties as required including general upkeep of the office and general administrative tasks.
The role is offered on a part-time basis, making it well suited to candidates currently undertaking financial planning studies, with the potential to transition to full-time employment in the future once study is completed.
Remuneration will be entry-level initially but has the ability to grow quickly. Regular remuneration reviews will be conducted and those who learn and grow with us will be rewarded accordingly.
The Candidate
This role will suit someone early in their career who is serious about building genuine capability in financial planning. You will need to take pride in producing accurate work, be comfortable learning quickly, and be someone who engages well with both clients and other team members. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Completion of, or current enrolment in, a financial planning qualification.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Solid literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional presentation and a client-focused approach
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook & Adobe
- A strong desire to learn, develop and build a career in financial planning
