About the Role

Are you a retail supervisor, hospitality skilled, or customer service champion who prides themselves on getting things right the first time? We care about your communication skills and your attention to detail, not how much you know about engines.

We are looking for a meticulous communicator to join our team as a Trainee Service Advisor . In this role, you won't be fixing cars. Instead, you will be the face of our business—acting as the "Guest Host" and "Technical Translator" between our customers and our workshop team.

Because you will be managing service bookings, logging precise customer requests, and finalizing repair orders using our Units dealership system, accuracy and attention to detail are absolute critical keys to success in this role. If you have great energy and a sharp eye for detail, we will teach you the rest.

A Day in the Life

- Welcoming Guests: Greeting customers when they arrive to drop off their vehicles and making them feel at home.

- Accurate Data Entry (Units): Actively listening to customer concerns and accurately noting down their specific requests into our Units software so the mechanics know exactly what to look for.

- The "Technical Translator": Liaising with our qualified mechanics, translating workshop updates into plain English for the customer, and preparing precise, error-free cost estimates.

- Keeping in Touch: Providing proactive phone and SMS updates to customers throughout the day regarding their vehicle’s progress.

- The Handover: Explaining the final invoice clearly, processing payments accurately, and ensuring they leave with total peace of mind.

What You Bring to the Team

You do not need to know how to change a tyre to excel here. We are looking for:

- Flawless Attention to Detail: A habit of double-checking your work, keeping precise notes, and ensuring administrative and invoicing tasks are 100% accurate.

- Natural Empathy: A genuine passion for helping people and a calm, reassuring manner under pressure.

- Strong Computer Literacy: Confidence navigating scheduling databases. Prior experience using Units software is a massive advantage , but we will train the right detail-oriented person.

- Reliability: A valid Australian Driver’s License (Manual or Automatic) is essential for moving customer vehicles safely on-site.
