We are currently seeking a Part Time Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. Monday to Friday - 20 to 25 hours per week. No Weekend Work!!

This role will include duties such as:

Raising purchase orders to purchase goods and services to ensure production schedules are achieved on time.

Source and purchase ad-hoc consumable and one off items from time to time and as directed.

Ensuring compliance is met with procurement processes and policies.

Assisting with the preparation of tenders and negotiation of contracts for the supply of goods.

Continual supplier analysis to ensure efficiencies and cost reductions, ensuring they meet approved supplier requirements and onboard recent suppliers as required.

Coordinating delivery of goods and to maintain inventory control activity with warehouse staff. This may include assisting with good receipt activities and functions in CIN 7 inventory system.

Maintain supplier pricing files within CIN 7 to ensure purchase price and therefore Cost of Goods accuracy.

Prepare and forecast annual material prices to enable future budget preparations.

Assist with warehouse stock counting requirements as necessary.

Responding to contractual matters and carrying out contract reviews.

Maintaining registers for contracts.





Negotiate with transport operators to ensure the best price options for the delivery of goods ex Wholesale Food Group to customers premises.

Preparing documents, reports and other duties as directed.

Negotiation of import freight management.

Oversee and manage the CIN 7 Inventory management system or any future inventory or EPR system the business may wish to implement.

Be responsible for the maintenance of inventory master file details and Bill of Material maintenance, including addition of new products and materials.

Responsible for reviewing sales volumes to budget and working with the sales team to plan inventory demand requirements to create future production schedules for the production teams.

Manage inventory levels in line with company requirements and targets.

Converting production plans to raw material/packaging demand plans for purchasing officer to coordinate material requirements.

Ensuring stock accuracy by conducting stock counts on a cyclic and regular basis.

Reconcile and investigate stock variations. Develop remediation plans to avoid future stock losses.

Ability to multitask to a reasonable level.

What we are looking for:

5 years experience as a Procurement Coordinator or in a similar role within a procurement or supply chain environment.

Proficiency in the use of CIN7 Inventory system to manage stock levels, track orders, and generate inventory reports or other inventory system experience is a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends is a plus.
