Warehouse Assistant / Delivery driver (when needed)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver (when needed) to join our team.
This is a hands-on role involving general warehouse duties, order picking and packing, stock control and receiving deliveries. We are looking for someone who is organised, takes pride in their work and can work efficiently as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive incoming deliveries and check goods against paperwork
- Check stock for correct use-by and best-before dates
- Rotate stock correctly to maintain effective FIFO stock control
- Assist with stocktakes and general inventory control
- Put stock away in the correct warehouse locations
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Operate a forklift safely




- Work within chilled and freezer areas as required
- Report damaged, short-dated or incorrect stock
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required

About you

- The ability and availability to start work early in the morning in Parkinson
- The ability to work in a freezer setting and chilled warehouse area
- A current MR truck licence would be highly regarded, as the successful applicant may occasionally be required to act as a backup delivery driver when needed
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- A reliable and punctual work ethic
- The ability to undertake the physical requirements of a warehouse role, including lifting and moving stock
