The Jamboree AUS Pty Ltd – Slacks Creek QLD
The Jamboree has a 36-year history of delivering some of Australia’s biggest and most diverse Drag Racing and Car Culture events. We have built a strong reputation within the industry and continue to evolve with the ever-changing automotive and event landscape.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality events, operating professionally and continually pushing the boundaries to keep our events fresh, relevant and exciting.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and hands‑on all‑rounder to join our Jamboree team within a well established fast‑paced car & motorsport event promotion business.
We're passionate about what we do — and we're looking for someone who is too.
This is not your typical desk‑based marketing or administration role. Working in events means no two days are the same, and we are looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in whatever needs to be done to help deliver successful events.
One day you could be creating social media artwork and scheduling posts, responding to enquiries and completing administration. The next, you could be packing signage, sorting event equipment, preparing merchandise or helping load a truck for an upcoming event.
The job description below outlines some of the key areas of the role, but it is not intended to be a strict day‑to‑day list. We need someone who is adaptable, practical and willing to have a go at just about anything.
If you enjoy being part of a team, working in a fast‑paced environment and seeing an event come together from the planning stages through to the final pack‑down, this could be the role for you.

- Assisting with event staff arrangements and allocating duties.
- Maintaining event documentation, databases and records.
- Completing general administration including invoices, bills, correspondence and data entry.
- Assisting with venue, supplier, equipment, catering, travel and other event arrangements.
- Assisting with event set‑up, bump‑in, pack‑down and general on‑site operations.
- Helping load, unload, move, organise and prepare event equipment and signage.
- Supporting customers, competitors, sponsors, traders and event attendees.
- Tracking promotional activity and providing feedback to the team.
- Assisting with post‑event evaluations and reporting.
- Working alongside event and track management teams to help ensure events run smoothly.
- Taking on whatever additional tasks are required to get the job done.
