Support Worker - Ivanhoe and surrounds (NDIS, TAC and Aged Care)

Shift Locations: Bulleen, Ivanhoe, Rosanna, Reservoir, Thornbury, Essendon, Melbourne (CBD) Viewbank, and surrounding areas

We've got a variety of shifts available in the above locations, soinclude your availability to work as part of your application to be considered for the position.

Your Responsibilities: As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks:

- Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs
- Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry.
- Personal care activities including showering, dressing andtoileting
- Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community
- Meal assistance and preparation.

Qualifications:



A Certificate or qualification that relates to Support Workers duties is preferred but notrequired. We consider transferable skills and personal experience as part of your application.

Your Requirements:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current and valid Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
- Qualification such as a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent industry related experience (preferred but not required)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A smartphone compatible to download our rostering app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Your own vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance
- International Police Check Certificate (or willingness to obtain) if you have lived overseas for more than 12 months within the last 10 years
- Proof of work entitlement (if applicable)
- Provide at least two qualified employment references
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable and Punctual
- Caring nature and ability to understand clients and their needs
