About the role

This is an opportunity for a passionate Hairdresser or beauty consultant who takes a professional, personalised approach to scalp health to join our team. You will work directly with clients to assess their scalp condition, identify contributing factors and develop a tailored journey to improve their scalp and overall hair health.

The successful candidate will be confident working with microscopic scalp analysis and communicating professional recommendations clearly and confidently to clients.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Certificate IV in Hairdressing

At least 1 year of practical, on-site experience

Hands-on experience conducting scalp assessments using a microscope (preferred but not essential)

Understanding of scalp and hair conditions and their contributing factors and the willingness to learn more.

The ability to develop a personalised scalp improvement journey for each client

Excellent communication and consultation skills

A 5 star hospitality, skilled and client-focused communication style

The ability to build trust and explain findings and recommendations in a clear, easy-to-understand manner





A genuine passion for scalp health, hair health and client wellbeing

High attention to detail and professional presentation

The ability to work independently while maintaining high professional standards

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will be expected to:

Conduct professional and thorough scalp consultations

Perform microscopic scalp assessments confidently

Clearly explain your findings to clients

Identify appropriate areas of focus and contributing factors

Develop a personalised plan or journey to support scalp improvement

Provide professional recommendations based on the client's individual needs

Maintain accurate and professional consultation records

Create a premium client experience from consultation through to ongoing care

Recruitment Process

As this is a specialist client-facing role, our recruitment process includes a consultation role-play .

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to demonstrate how they would conduct a consultation, assess a client's scalp, explain their findings and communicate an appropriate improvement plan.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate not only technical knowledge, but also professional, communication skills and the ability to build client trust.
