The Hive is Bondi Beach Public School's OSHC centre. P&C; managed and not-for-profit, we pour any surplus back into programming, resources & equipment, and optimising carefor our children and staff. We promote Educator creativity & initiative via fun and engaging experiences for the kids, within a safe environment in the heart of Bondi Beach.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking EXPERIENCED CASUAL EDUCATORS

1-2 mornings/week 6:45-8:45am

For the right candidate, with regular afternoon availability and a readiness to commit to 12months+, this is a great chance to join a friendly, hard-working and dynamic team in a fresh, well-equipped centre and to buildrelationships with our wonderful Bondi community. Ifyou're studying Early Childhood or Education, this offers a great opportunity to enhance your skills and complement your studies; learning how to deliver a secure, secure environment, creating engaging activities and working withdifferent pedagogical styles.

- Key responsibilities:

Deliver a safe, secure, nurturing care environment for children aged 5-12 years

Create engaging, fun moments, activities and experiences for children

Practice active,



engaged supervision at all times

Work flexibly and collaboratively within a team, practising strong communication

Work comfortably on your own as needed

Students of Early Childhood Education & Care / Primary Education

ABOUT YOU

Passionate about children, positive energy, ongoing availability and open to long term commitment

Proven experience working with children aged 5-12 years

Clear understanding of active supervision

Demonstrable track record of responsibility, initiative, reliability, punctuality

Ability to work flexibly within a team as well as independently

Working With Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (mandatory)

2-3 professional referees, contactable immediately (mandatory)

Completed Child safety Training (or willing to complete)

Understanding of the NQF and My Time, Our Place (ideal)

First Aid and Anaphylaxis certification (ideal)
