The role

AMD Fire Protection has an opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to join their team in a full time role, working across both residential and commercial clients.

Day to day duties include

- Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems.
- Assist with installing smoke detectors, heat detectors, speakers, warning systems and associated fire equipment.
- Installation of wiring, conduit, smoke and heat detectors, Fire Panels & OWS/Ewis Panels
- Assist with fit-out and construction projects, including modifications to existing fire systems.
- Assisting qualified Electricians as required

We are looking for someone who is reliable, and keen to develop their skills. You will be a practical, hands‑on person with a strong work ethic, clear communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

- Currently enrolled in a relevant Electrical TAFE course or apprenticeship program
- Hold a current White Card
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to work well and contribute positively within a team environment
- A positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and develop your skills
