Kardinia International College is a leading K-12 co-educational, non-denominational, independent school located in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. With a student enrolment of approximately 2000, the College employs 300 permanent staff in addition to a large casual workforce.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, people-focused HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a dynamic school community.

Working in a close-knit People and Culture team, you will support recruitment, staff on and offboarding, data collection and training as well as a range of general HR activities. You will also contribute to ensuring the College meets its employment, industrial, regulatory, governance and child-safety obligations.

You are an organised, proactive and approachable qualified where the focus of your career is people and culture.



With strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, you have the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

You have sound HR administration experience and love having a variety of tasks on the go. You are confident working with HR systems and Microsoft Office and understand the importance of employment compliance. You have a collaborative, people-focused approach that easily aligns with Kardinia's commitment to child safety and overall values.

A Working with Children Check (employee) and willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check are essential. There is also an expectation to adhere to the College's Child Safe Policyand practices.
