Coastal Palms Village is a relaxed over-55s lifestyle community located in the beautiful coastal town of Shoalhaven Heads on the NSW South Coast. Positioned close to Seven Mile Beach and local amenities, the village offers peaceful coastal living within a friendly and established community.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team and support the ongoing presentation and maintenance of the village.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining the overall appearance, safety and functionality of the village.

You will be responsible for the upkeep of landscaped areas, gardens and common spaces, along with assisting with general maintenance across the village. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering high standards.





You will be required to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a small village team. A resident‑focused approach and confident communication style are essential, as you will be interacting with residents on a regular basis.

This role offers variety and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a well‑established and welcoming community.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in grounds keeping, landscaping or general property maintenance. Experience within a lifestyle village, retirement community or similar setting is advantageous but not essential.

The successful applicant will require:

- A current Driver’s Licence
- Experience operating equipment such as:
- Ride‑on mowers
- Hedge trimmers
- Whipper snippers
- Chainsaws
- High-powered hand tools
- The ability to undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed

You will be self‑motivated, reliable, well‑presented and take pride in maintaining high standards across the village.
