Signage Manufacturing & Installation Assistant

Signs National Group is seeking a Signage Manufacturing & Installation Assistant to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Smeaton Grange, NSW 2567 , this role is essential to our manufacturing and installation operations. You will work alongside experienced team members to support the production and installation of high-quality signage products for our diverse client base. This position offers the perfect opportunity to develop practical skills in manufacturing and installation whilst contributing directly to project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Assist in the manufacturing and fabrication of signage products, including cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials
- Support the preparation of materials and components for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Assist in the installation and positioning of completed signage at client locations
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements
- Assist with the loading, unloading and transportation of materials and completed signage
- Contribute to general maintenance of tools, equipment and workshop facilities
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and workplace guidelines

What we’re looking for

- A keen interest in manufacturing, fabrication or installation work within the signage, construction or related industries




- Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights where required
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors
- Strong health and safety awareness and willingness to comply with workplace safety requirements
- Reliable attendance and a professional approach to work
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- A valid white card and driver's licence
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or installation is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
