Our respected family-owned mortgage brokerage, Mortgage Choice Toowoomba City, is looking for a full-time office-based broking assistant. You will work closely with our team of experienced brokers, loan tracking and client care support staff to provide a personalised, proactive and friendly home loan service. You will work with multiple lenders; no day will be the same!

You will be assisting our mortgage brokers with a variety of tasks: liaising with clients to collect and review supporting documents, preparing and checking loan documentation (across multiple lenders), liaising with lenders, answering phone & in person enquiries and completing client loan reviews.

This position provides the opportunity to complete your Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking at no cost and the ability to develop the skills required to become a successful mortgage broker.

Experienceand proven skill in a similar role . Previous lending, banking, finance, or conveyancing experience is required to be considered for this role.

High attention to detail to accurately complete and review loan documents.

Good memory recall and the ability to manage multiple files.

Proficient computer skills and confidence to learn new software.

Ability to adapt to changing lender requirements and to independently problem-solve solutions.

Enjoy being customer-facing and helping people achieve the goal of obtaining finance.
