Federal Hotel Alstonville – Alstonville NSW

You'll work as part of our kitchen team preparing and serving quality contemporary pub food across lunch and dinner services. You'll be expected to confidently run your section, keep things organised during busy periods and work well with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard

Food preparation and mise en place

Maintaining presentation and portion standards

Assisting with stock rotation and minimising waste

Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen

Contributing ideas for specials and new dishes

Working as part of a team to keep service running smoothly

About you

Experience working as a Chef in a busy pub, restaurant or similar kitchen

Can handle a busy service

Reliable and turns up ready to work





Takes pride in the food they send out

Works well as part of a team

Good kitchen and food-safety practices

Can work independently when required

Available across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
