Level 3 - $41.57 - $44.46 + superannuation & benefits (based on experience and qualifications)

As a casual front reception administration officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth hospital operations by:
- Welcoming patients and visitors as the first point of contact at reception
- Providing high-quality administrative support to support excellent patient service and care
- Delivering excellent customer service to our patients, visitors, and healthcare teams
- Administering records, schedules, and correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality
- Supporting patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure efficient hospital workflows
- Using hospital systems (e.g, Microsoft Suite, EPAS) for data entry, billing, and scheduling
What Makes a Difference for Us?
We’re seeking an individual who brings:
- 1-2 years experiences in a hospital or similar high‑volume administrative workplace (desirable)
- Excellent computer skills with accuracy and confidence using clinical and administrative systems
- The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressureStrong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and occasional weekends and on flexible roster
- A proactive, solutions‑focused “can‑do” attitude
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- A commitment to values‑based practice in a not‑for‑profit healthcare setting
