Systems Engineer – Azure / Microsoft 365
Initial 3-Month Contract | Perth | Azure Cloud Environment We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise across Microsoft Azure, Intune and Microsoft 365 to join a Technical Services Delivery team supporting a large-scale cloud environment.

This role will focus on the administration, implementation, deployment and ongoing improvement of Azure and Microsoft 365 services , while providing senior‑level technical support and resolving escalated infrastructure and cloud issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, configure and support Microsoft Intune, including endpoint and device management
- Implement, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Configure and support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Office 365
- Administer and maintain OneDrive and other Microsoft cloud services
- Manage SCCM patch management
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated cloud, infrastructure and application issues
- Support and improve the organisation’s broader IT infrastructure
- Contribute to cloud design, BAU activities and scheduled project work




- Identify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability and maturity of the environment

Essential Experience

- Minimum 5+ years’ Systems Engineering experience
- Solid hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune
- Proven experience implementing and deploying Azure services
- Strong knowledge of core Microsoft Azure technologies and services
- Demonstrated configuration experience across Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams and Office 365
- Experience with SCCM patch management
- Strong experience supporting, maintaining and improving enterprise IT infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and time‑management skills

Desirable

Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Forms, Yammer/Viva Engage, Citrix and Red Hat Linux would be advantageous.
