The Opportunity

A major organisation operating within a complex and highly regulated setting is embarking on a broad operational transformation program aimed at strengthening governance, improving organisational performance and addressing systemic business challenges.

As part of this initiative, an experienced consultant is sought to provide independent analysis, strategic advice and practical recommendations across a wide range of operational, audit, risk and compliance matters. The focus is not simply on reviewing individual issues, but on understanding how they interrelate, identifying recurring drivers of organisational challenges and helping shape long-term, sustainable improvements.

This engagement offers the opportunity to work on high-profile business initiatives, influence strategic decision-making and partner with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.

About the Role

Working as part of a specialist advisory team, you will lead investigations into complex operational issues, governance challenges and improvement opportunities across the organisation.

You will be responsible for assessing large volumes of information from multiple sources, identifying emerging themes, uncovering systemic weaknesses and providing evidence-based recommendations that improve business performance, risk management and organisational effectiveness.

Success in this role will come from your ability to look beyond isolated events and understand the broader operational landscape, helping leaders prioritise initiatives that deliver meaningful and lasting change.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Reviewing governance, risk, audit, compliance and operational information from across the business.

- Identifying common themes, interconnected issues and systemic trends.





- Conducting structured analysis to determine underlying causes of recurring business challenges.

- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing improvement and remediation activities.

- Developing strategic recommendations that support stronger governance, improved controls and enhanced operational performance.

- Facilitating stakeholder workshops and discussions to validate findings and build alignment around proposed solutions.

- Preparing clear and concise reports, insights and executive-level recommendations.

- Supporting the delivery of business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
