The structure's coming out of the ground. You'll be running a CA and a cadet through to completion, then walking onto the next one.

This is a live build on a complex, engaging project for a well-known national client.

The builder is mid-tier, privately owned, with a name for treating people well and a Queensland pipeline that doesn't stop. The PM is of the highest calibre, most of the team have worked together before, and you'll have two CAs under you to run the commercial function end to end.

Piling and basement dig are complete, all the big structural and early trade packages are let, and you'll be picking up cost control, subcontract admin, variations and monthly reporting through to final account.

The current senior CA is taking extended long service leave, so the start is four to six weeks out and the handover will be compressed.



You'll need to get across the project quickly.

What you need:

- - Minimum four years builder-side contract administration experience on building construction projects in South East Queensland, ideally with mid-tier or Tier 2 background
- - Demonstrated ability to run a CA team and manage the full commercial function independently, including cost control, subcontract administration, head contract claims and monthly financial reporting
- - Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering, and working knowledge of the Security of Payment Act in Queensland
