About the role

We are seeking an Operations/ Systems Manager to join our team at our Strathfield South office on a full-time basis . This role is pivotal to the smooth functioning of our construction operations, serving as a strategic link between project delivery, quality assurance, and operational efficiency. As Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across all project delivery phases. This position offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on project outcomes and company performance.

Key responsibilities

- Manage, develop, train and establish all company software systems and procedures.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control protocols aligned with industry best practices and client requirements
- Monitor project performance metrics and produce detailed operational reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations
- Manage operational documentation, including quality records, non-conformance reports, and corrective action tracking
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to address concerns, manage expectations, and maintain professional relationships
- Support the recruitment, training,



and development of operational and quality assurance team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all operations

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction operations or project management, with proven expertise in quality assurance and control
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry regulations relevant to Australian construction standards
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating within a team environment
- Current driver's licence and willingness to visit construction sites regularly
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in quality auditing and non-conformance management is highly desirable
