Senior Consultant - Digital Strategy – Assurance

The opportunity

As our Senior Digital Strategist in Oceania Digital Assurance, you’ll accelerate the digital transformation of Assurance by turning digital, analytics and AI innovation into practical solutions that are adopted across the practice and create measurable value for our people, clients and business.

This is a hybrid position that can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

- Define and communicate Oceania digital audit priorities across EY Helix, AI, smart automation, custom analytics, data delivery and client-facing digital audit experiences.
- Partner with Digital Assurance leadership and specialist teams to support priority accounts, pursuits and engagement teams with transparent digital roadmaps, practical demonstrations and credible delivery models.
- Lead the adoption and scaling of digital capabilities through ambassador networks, pilots, training, communications and feedback loops with global teams.

Skills and attributes for success

- Senior auditor or relevant industry experience across accounting, analytics and digital-enabled service delivery.
- Experience leading change across a distributed practice, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training,



governance and adoption reporting.

- A sound understanding of how digital analytics can enhance audit quality, improve understanding and generate value-adding insights.
- The ability to translate technical updates and EY’s digital strategy into clear, practical messages for audit teams, senior leaders and clients.
- Commercial judgement in pursuits, retenders, priority accounts and client-facing digital sessions.
- Curiosity and drive to stay at the forefront of emerging technology and innovation.
