WillowBee Early Learning Centre and Nursery are a family owned and operated luxury long day care centre, located in Chatswood. We are seeking full time Childcare worker/educator to join us!
n
Roles and responsibilities include:
n
n
Setting up and arranging resources and tools to facilitate children's learning and play experiences.
n
Encouraging positive behavior and supporting children's social growth and interpersonal skills.
n
Planning and delivering enjoyable and educational activities for children.
n
Engage with children through stories, games, and creative entertainment.
n
Monitoring children during leisure and group activities to ensure safety and engagement.
n
Managing and overseeing children's daily schedules, including eating, napping, and rest periods.
n




Promoting cleanliness and assisting children with hygiene practices.
n
n
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply.
n
Skills and Qualifications:
n
n
AQF Certificate III in Early Childhood Learning including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or higher.
n
Valid Working with Children Check
n
An thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
n
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
n
Excellent mentoring and leadership skills
n
A passion for providing high-quality childcare and education
n
n
Experience:
n
n
1-year minimum full time work experience as a child care worker or a related field, in the past 5 years.
