Remuneration: $120,000 - $140,000 + superannuation + vehicle

Think Water Townsville is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail and project team and drive the continued success and growth of our store.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, customers and products, while also having the technical knowledge to provide practical irrigation, pump and water management solutions.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading, training and developing the team, achieving sales and profit targets, maintaining exceptional customer service and ensuring the store consistently represents the Think Water brand to a high professional standard.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of the store, balancing people leadership, sales, customer service, stock management and technical advice .

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead, manage and motivate the retail team to achieve individual and store targets.
- Develop team members through coaching, training and regular performance reviews.
- Prepare staff rosters and conduct regular team meetings.
- Deliver exceptional service to both retail and trade customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Achieve monthly sales and profit budgets.
- Manage stock levels, purchasing and expenditure in line with company requirements.
- Ensure the retail area, storage areas and workshop are clean, organised, well stocked and professionally presented.
- Implement Think Water marketing and promotional programs.
- Maintain a strong and consistent Think Water brand presence, including store presentation, staff uniforms and vehicles.
- Provide customers with practical advice on irrigation, pumps, water management products and solutions.




- Diagnose pump and irrigation issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure all staff understand and comply with company policies, procedures and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Maintain appropriate OH&S; documentation, including JSA's and SOP compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, customer experience and overall business performance.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that support the continued growth and profitability of the business.

About You

We are looking for a customer-focused leader who combines strong retail management capability with practical irrigation and water management knowledge.

You will ideally have:

- 3-5 years' retail management experience , preferably within an irrigation, plumbing, water management or related environment.
- Certificate III in Irrigation or equivalent qualification.
- A current Class C driver's licence .
- Strong knowledge of different pump types, with the ability to diagnose problems and develop practical solutions.
- An understanding of urban irrigation and water management techniques, products and applications.
- Experience working within a commercial or agricultural environment is desirable.Strong computer and POS skills.
- A sound understanding of OH&S; principles, procedures and documentation.
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.
