Reporting to the CEO and Artistic Director, you will lead the strategic, financial, technical and operational management of La Boite's productions and events.

Key responsibilities

- Lead production planning and delivery across the Roundhouse Theatre, Studio and touring projects.
- Develop and manage production budgets, schedules and resources.
- Work closely with directors, designers and creative teams to realise new work.
- Lead, recruit, train, roster and supervise production and technical staff, including stage management, LX/SND/AV, wardrobe, props, rigging and casual technicians.
- Oversee bump-ins, bump-outs, events and hands-on production support.
- Provide technical and venue advice to production partners and hirers.
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies.
- Provide strategic technical advice to management and contribute to annual and capital budgets.
- Oversee maintenance, renewal and capital expenditure for theatre, workshop spaces and technical equipment.
- Develop and maintain effective technical policies,



procedures and production practices.

About you

- Significant experience in production and technical management within the Australian performing arts sector.
- Strong knowledge of live theatre production and touring.
- Proven experience managing production processes, people, budgets and resources.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative and flexibility.
- The ability to work collaboratively and calmly in a busy creative setting.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, inclusion and positive team culture.
