We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Yacht Captain to take full command and custodianship of two vessels operating out of Jones Bay Wharf: a Nomad 101 luxury motor yacht undertaking commercial charter work (functions and corporate events) around Sydney Harbour, and Valhalla 46, a fishing charter vessel operating weekly trips. This is a full‑time role suited to a Captain who takes full ownership of vessel readiness — from command and guest experience through to maintenance, fuelling, and all works required to keep both boats charter‑ready year‑round. Live onboard option available.

- Manage fuelling and all works required to keep boats charter‑ready

About you





- Current AMSA Coxswain/Master certificate of competency appropriate to the gross tonnage and survey category of Nomad 101 (Master <45M Near Coastal)
- Proven experience in commercial passenger/charter vessel operations in Australia (weddings, corporate charters, or similar high‑end guest experiences).
- Experience operating smaller charter vessels for fishing or day‑charter work (relevant to the Valhalla 46).
- Current STCW-equivalent safety certification, First Aid, and marine radio (VHF/GMDSS) qualifications.
- Working knowledge of marine engineering/mechanical systems sufficient to carry out or oversee routine maintenance.
- Clean National Police Check and full working rights in Australia.
