An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Executive Officer / Senior Executive Support professional to provide strategic, governance and operational support to a senior executive portfolio within a leading higher education organisation.
About the role
You will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic insights into the higher education sector and supporting informed decision-making;
- Undertaking research and analysis of emerging issues, trends and opportunities;
- Preparing high-quality briefing papers, reports, submissions, presentations and executive communications;
- Managing and coordinating significant projects, change initiatives and legislative reporting requirements;
- Monitoring risks, issues, priorities and deliverables across the portfolio;
- Supporting governance processes and senior committees;
- Building strong relationships across academic, professional and external stakeholder groups; and
- Representing senior executives on committees and cross-functional initiatives.
About you
We are looking for an accomplished executive support professional, with proven ability driving strategy and stakeholder relationships.
You will bring:
- Significant experience supporting senior executives in a strategic or operational capacity;
- Strong MS Office Suite skills including preparation of presentations and collation of documentation;
- Strong strategic, analytical and conceptual capability;
- The ability to influence, negotiate and build effective relationships with senior and diverse stakeholders; and
- The confidence to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and navigate a complex environment.
