A growing after-hours small animal emergency clinic is seeking a weekend vet to work at their practice in the beautiful Blue Mountains, just 90-minutes from Sydney.

The weekend vet roster would see the successful vet work Saturdays (12 pm -6 pm) and Sundays (10 am – 6 pm) plus on-call for in-patients on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

Patients hospitalised overnight receive designated nurse checks. Vets are on-call for the deterioration of a hospitalised patient. Patients requiring continuous overnight monitoring are referred.

Applicants must be comfortable with sole charge. The successful applicant will be supported by in office vet nurses.



There are other senior vets available for case support.

In office accommodation and work vehicle are provided during the weekends worked.

Assistance with relocation costs is also available.

The clinic is fully equipped for first-opinion emergencies, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, designated theatre, in office pathology, infusion pumps and hospitalisation facilities.
